I've been messaging a girl I used to work with on fb.. We've exchanged a couple of messages and I went for the number close. I used the excuse to get a latte sometime..

She has recently moved to a different city which isnt that far away from me but her response to me was that getting the latte would be difficult because she is in a new city.

I know the attraction is there because when we were working together it was pretty obvious from our interactions but there wasnt enough of them to close.. I should have just number closed her at work aint hindsight awesome lol..

So what should I reply with.. I'm thinking of going along the lines of "difficult's a walk in the park"

She is in a different 'city'...why are you waisting time with her when there are millions of hot girls where you live? If you travel to the city she lives in now, then it might be worth the hassle, if not...stick to 'local'girls.

If her attraction level was high enough, she would agree to a latte or change her schedule around to see you. This girl is brushing you off, move on to someone else.

True it could be a brush off or its a shit test and she is trying to work out how hard ill work for her.. I do go to the city she is in.. I wouldnt bother otherwise.. I'd never go just to see her it would be a side thing..

People make things so complicated! If you go to the city she's in, just say difficult schmificult, I'm in that city every week or whatever. Give me your digits and I'll let you know next time I'm there.

The blow off did sound like a blow off to me though.

I have not asked for her number a second time because I didnt want to come across as needy. I tend to mirror the end i.e. because she didnt 'x' I didn't if she did I would have.

So what do you all think?? FYI I'm leaning more towards the blow off. I'm biding my time before I reply because the last time we messaged was a Friday night and I dont like to message people on saturdays.

She might just not be interested in a long distance relationship, maybe she's had bad experience of it. My advice would just be to chat on there until you're going to leeds next and then just say, i'm in leeds next week blah blah
