Me: I'd love to tutor you but after I get to your house you'd start getting all frisky when I'm trying to teach you about cells. It couldn't work =)

Her: Oh is that so... lol

Me: Yea, sorry to shatter your fantasy but I ain't that easy.


Now I think that was a weak response to what she said. I should have come up w/ some thing more witty but I'm trying hard not to think about it for more than 1 minute because I won't have a minute in real life, I'd have 1 second.

Anyone got a C&F response to the "oh is that so?"

You could move in with a C&F along the lines of:

Me: Yeah, well you know the fun stuff's all in your jeans...
[quickly followed up with]
Me: genes*
[as a word replacer covering over the C&F]

OR

Me: Was that a challenge? You think I can't tutor you?
[get her to qualify herself as a student and you as a tutor]

As you said, you have to be quick off the mark. I just threw these down as instant responses to her reply. Waiting more than a second or two will just make it appear rehearsed.
