Hardest part for me is setting up a date and make her commit to seeing me. Any ideas on how to make this easy?

It is the hardest part for a lot of people the key is getting the girl you are talking to make small commitments during your interactions with her. First when you start talking to them you need to just work to build common ground on multiple levels whether it's sharing life experiences, music you like, interests, etc. From there you get her off the site you met her on to email. Then after a few emails to Instant Messenger which isn't a big commitment. Once she's used to talking to you online and comfortable with that then move to the phone calls or texting.

After a few descent length phone conversations which I prefer over texting then it will be easier to get her to take that next small bite sized commitment to meet you. A lot of guys try to go from Online to In Person. That is asking a lot of someone who met you online...so we have to break it up into baby steps so it's not a big leap she's making.

Thank you for the pointers, JSmooth. I think my biggest problem is the fact that I don't see going from online to meeting up in person as being a really big step. But it actually is. I guess I should stop rushing so much. Again, thanks for pointing that out!
