I've realized it's not a matter of the profile.. It's the fact that I don't have anything clever enough to say when I msg the girl. I also joined Millionaire Match and Hot Enough not too long ago and just feel like I'm competing with some very big fish and am left without things to say.

Just by looking at it it looks kinda too serious. There's nothing cocky or funny on there. You list out a million books you like, but don't say anything about music or movies?

Yeah I don't want to turn my profile into a "Myspace gimmicky" list your interests one..

How do you add some cocky lines or funny lines that are congruent with what you see now?

"Call me adventurous, but I'm driven to explore the world, and believe if you aren't living life to its fullest, you're not living life at all. In my spare time, I love to go out and try new exciting things.. I have a love for surfing and pretty much anything that keeps me strong on my feet."

Instead you could do something like "I'm amazing at... being adventurous, exploring the world, doing the dishes. I believe if you're not living life to its fullest then... I dunno, but you suck. In my spare time, I love going out and trying new exciting things, like talking to animals. I've found out that I'm really good at it, but they don't usually talk back."

You can still talk yourself up and make it sound like you wanna be adventurous, but still be funny and make your profile exciting.
