I completely flaked out on a girl I had arranged to meet today. We scheduled the date over a week ago. She did not confirm. This girl has been chronically hard to nail down - we originally started talking online about two months ago (before I really started pickup in earnest). So far she hasn't sent me any pictures except for a closeup of her her face (not a 10 but not a dogface either.) I'm guessing she's not more revealing about her figure because she's a fatty but I could be wrong. I had made arrangements to meet her at a coffee shop. I flaked because I was too busy getting caught up on work. I got a terse email saying she was there. Frankly I've got a bunch of girls in the game so I'm not really holding out much for this one. If ever the adage "it's no big deal" was more true, it is now.

I have some choices:

1. Play dumb, admit fault, see if a date reschedule is in the cards (so AFC)
2. Neg her for not confirming
3. Neg her for not being more forthcoming about her appearance (I do NOT date fat girls) Granted, I do not know what she looks like, I only saw her face pic and her closeup looked a little round.
4. Ignore her completely
5. Politely tell her "sorry" but I'm pursuing other options

Keep in mind I live in a small city and I'm bound to run into this person again. Suggestions welcomed.

Be honest. Tell her that you had to catch up on work shit. And re-schedule the meet.

well after reading upon this site i would automatically cross out option 5 because apologizing shows signs off weakness. Seems like you should tell her you didn't know that it was official since she didnt confirm it, saying you forgot would make it seem like you are a forget person who would probably flake alot, and girls don't like that.
