thomasx-----i do sympathize for with location. i live east of pittsburgh myself. yes, it's been rated as one of the worst cities for singles. but that's because so many of the college grads move away for work. you're still at a time where you can do okay. browsing through your pics, i do think you need to drop the pic you took yourself. it looked menacing and a bit creepy in my opinion. i do think that having amateur pics is necessary though. if all of your pics are model type pics , then people may be skeptical. also, you want to look like you have friends and have fun. with where you are going to school you have some good things going on. there are a number of colleges north of pittsburgh so maybe try to go on a few roadtrips to them to expand your horizons. college girls will go more for the artsy types than the cashiers at sheetz. what you may want to try is maybe joining a few social networking sites that are more for the artsy. there are niche sites for all kinds of things. but it could help get you off on the right food or at least target the girls more commonly into your type. also, being where you are living, i'd consider trying to contact girls from eastern ohio. it's no further than pittsburgh in most situations and it surely couldn't hurt anything.
