As an aside to the 'hot girl's perspective' thread I am considering the fact that this may be an opportunity to add some fake social proof.

The consensus amongst the girls I have asked is photographs of you with other women is a no no.

So that leaves testimonials.

Now testimonials used in the wrong way can lower the perceived value and probably sparks the 'well if he is so great why isn't she dating him?' question in a girl's head. Now if a HB7-9 left a message along the lines of 'cool guy, has xyz going for him, had a great time, perfect gentleman who made me feel good inside, shares some 'in' joke, and says 'gutted he chose just to be friends' (to me this is the KEY part)'. Then I think this would send a totally different message.

If your profile is congruent with you being the selector and evidenced with testimonials would this increase perceived value?

Thoughts?

From reading various posts from girls on this, its a definite no no if it is just you and a girl or two in the picture. Tho if its a group setting where its you other guys and girls in the picture most girls don't seem to have a problem with this. The only exception is if its a picture of you and a female family member in the picture that is around your age, and you make it clear its a family member.

They can no doubt help, but the thing is how many girls are going to actually check to see if you have testimonials from other girls? Especially when a lot of girls don't even read or barely skim your profile?

Interesting, this could be where I'm going wrong... i had a few photos with me and really hot girls on my profile. The chicks looking at my profile would be comparing themselves to the girl in the photo and then think i'm just a player.

Jurupa I have to agree and laugh at that. I have just come back from a 'date' and the lady said she hadn't even read my profile!

Although girls SAY seeing a photo of you with other women is a big no no, in psychological experiments I read about, they showed that a woman almost always subconsciously finds a man more attractive if he is pictured with other women than if he is pictured alone or with only men.

The key I think is to not look too like a couple with any one girl, or too much like you're out and have just picked up some women and are having a picture taken to flaunt how hot they are. Have photographs up that look like you have a lot of female friends, do fun things with them, but with no sexual overtone, and that will make you seem more attractive a person.

I think i agree with Jurupa on photos.Maybe photos showing yourself in a social setting with women *and* men are a good idea. None with just you and a woman. I think it raises insecurity and not your value. If it was a good idea to have pohotos with you and a hot babe wouldn't 'gurus' who have online profiles use them? Follow what they are doing

It won't raise insecurities, but red flags if a girl sees you around girls all the time in photos with no guys in the photo. Some of the guru's say you should only have photos of you with girls and thats it. As they claim it will give you social proof. But I call bull shit on that. Having one maybe two photos like that is fine. But anymore and a girl is going to think you are a player or a guy that just hooks up with girls.
