Ok, so I've been a member of okcupid for over a year and became very frustrated, No one ever responds or you just don't get any people viewing your profile. I started off with a couple of recommendations from a few of my friend, talk about crash and burn. One don't bother going to the forums and trying to meet people there, 2 don't do weird profile pictures and 3 dont send winks.
I've spent a few days going over the online pick ups and saw that most of them might or might not work. I took a few of them and tried it and see what could happen.. of course nothing, granted they came and check my page and that was it.
My biggest tip is looking over the person profile, find out what they are into find out if they talk about anything odd, or just something the sticks out in their page that shows that you took the time to read it.
One of the main points I have found is there are a few things you can turn a neg from reading someones profile and getting a message back. I'll share with you a couple that worked out really well, Like I stated before each one is different and is tailored to the person I want to talk to.
Target 1: she stated that she hated chocolate milk in her profile
Subject: WHAT!!!
ME: How can you not like chocolate milk ?
HER: I just don't. I love milk and I love chocolate but not in combination.
It took 10 more messages of talking of random shit, we went out and had fun
Target 2: stated she loved to text message... ( I came up with a neg for that thinking it wouldn't work)
ME: So I see you txt msg alot, How much do you do a month?
HER: I txt about 3,000 a month why?
ME: You must have callus over your fingers and thumbs., so before we can chat any further your going to have to take care of that by getting a manicure.
HER: Your in luck, I went and got one today ( she even took a photo of her fresh new nails )
ME: good glad to see that you take care of yourself, how can we further this talk offline.
I number closed her in 2 messages. The best part was each of the girls I've talked to have stated that the only reason they even responded to me because I showed that I wasn't the normal guy saying " you're hot " or your " sexy "
I hope this helps someone of you, I know its nothing to special, but after learning a few things and testing them out its working like a champ for me, just take the time and build custom lines for each of them, they might work... or they might not. Being on this site for over a year and now getting people to replay back is a great feeling.
