long story short, this girl in my town added me on myspace. turns out i'm buddy buddy with her step brother and some other friends of hers. we haven't talked on the phone yet, but we've been texting.

today, she asks me what i'm doing, she makes it clear she wants to hang out. she ends up having to babysit or something.

now, coincidentally, i had about 3 different things that i could have done, and all of those ended up not working out. here's our convo:

me:
Hey, i didn't end up going out tonight, lol

her:
aww. That sux were both in the same boat. whens ur next day off

me:
i'm free mon-wed

her:
oh thats good.Lucky lol. whens ur bday? i think i asked u b4

me:
June 17th, i'm a gemini

her:
Oh ok. i know alota geminis my ex & my roomate are 2 of em lol

me:
my former best friend shared the same birth date with me... but she's kind of tapped. i'm the sane on lol.

her:
ya geminis can be tricky thats for sure lol

that's SUCH a shit test and i had NOTHING to reply to her with... so the average text time was about 1 text perminute... 10 minutes go by:

me:
so... yeah!

her:
Lol, yeah i think i'm gonna go to bed

me:
k, night!
------------------

then nothing

what the hell? this was out of fucking NOWHERE. anything redeeming i should do?

Don't say "so..." or similar. Can give over lots of bad signals, such as you're bored and that's why you're talking to her, you're needy and wanting to talk to her and other things. One of the things I've cut down on a lot.

I can't think of a reply off the top of my head, so I'd have just cut the thread and started a new topic.

Why was that a shit test? You want to be mysterious, you want to
be tricky, you want her to not know what your gonna do next..

If anything I would think its a compliment and would of came back
with some CF remark
