What kind of talking do you keep online? And how do you move to real life?

I mean, I know you can't just talk everything online or she'll lose interest in seeing you in person. So, what conversation you do online and when you move to the next level and set up a meeting?

I wish any experienced guys could clarify this for me.

Could you be more specific with your question? Are these girls who you've never ever spoken to before, or are they girls you already know?

If this is a cold approach situation basically what you need to do is make them feel attracted to you enough and comfortable with you enough so that you can escalate to the next level - be that getting her IM, getting her number or arranging a date. Don't spend longer than you have to online - try to meet with her in person as soon as you can.

Some guys can do this in one or two messages, some can take much longer. For me it's about 5 or 6 messages (each) before I suggest meeting up escalate, but this will vary according to your skills, your style and how the girl is reacting.

In my experience if a girl has given you at least two separate IoIs in two consecutive messages, then that's the absolute minimum you need in order for your escalation to be successful - getting more is very much advisable.

In order to get those IoIs you need to generate attraction, to do this you can use mini DHV stories, make her laugh, be playful, say interesting things etc. It is also very helpful to generate a feeling of connection through mini role plays, finding commonalities (can be as simple as you both liking the same band) and by making sure you answer her questions.

My question was basically about what kind of topics do you keep on the online conversation so you can set up a meeting and not run out of things to chat but also have enough attraction and rapport.

There is an infinite number of topics you could talk about! Just make sure you keep her laughing and insert a few mini-DHV stories.

e.g. once you've opened and got a positive response, you could move into something like this...

"So how was your weekend?

Mine was a bit crazy..." Then add a mini-DHV story about your weekend.

An example of a DHV story would be

"Tried a new club with some friends. It was cool, but I had to spend most of the evening protecting my friends little sister from being hit on by sleazy old men! This one guy, must have been 45, said he'd buy me a drink if I persuaded her to dance with him. I said no, but only because I was holding out for a pack of peanuts too. "


In later messages you can ask interesting questions (e.g. So which is sexier, pirates or ninjas? I need tips for a fancy dress party this weekend!), do mini-roll plays, ask her what music she is into etc.
