What made you join this site ?
You seem interesting and down to earth. I go to school studying mechanical engineering and work full-time. Your profile stood out from the others

Basically I'm just looking to meet some fun new people. If you have time check out my profile and if you're interested let me know.
Apart from your looks what else makes you interesting?
Fil
(yes i spell my name with an "F". not "ph". one of the cool things about being from europe)
Please give feed back. feel free to be negative too. it's how i learn.
Anywho - this seems to work pretty good. 1 out of 5 reply. for online crap it's pretty good.
let me know what you guys think.
Keep it real...Keep it simple

I am not sure what site you are talking about, but if it is myspace, I wouldnt ask why they joined the site. Everyone and their mother has one and no one knows why, haha. I would keep the details about yourself down to a minimum. The more mystery you create with a girl, the more intrigued they become. I think it would be alright to say I'm Fil and I currently work and go to school. Leave it at that.
I wouldnt say "If you have time check out my profile and if you're interested let me know" simply because it gives her the power and the choice. She will respond if she is interested or if you present an email that she just has to respond to. I think with online stuff, you just want to separate yourself from everyone else and you will get a response.
I like your line "Apart from your looks what else makes you interesting? " because she will probably attempt to qualify herself to you. For me however, I would not compliment her on her looks. I usually try and go with something cocky/funny/neg. For example, if they are making a goofy face; ask "just to make sure... your face isnt stuck that way is it?" or something, just to neg them.
It definately is not bad, but I think you can definately do better than 1 out of 5. Good luck man!
