| I don't do much online. 17 years ago, back in the day, this is how I got my wife, now ex. So, after being burned, i have limited it.
Having said that, I was on PoF last night updating my profile. About to log off at 2:30 am, when I get a chat request.
I don't like rating on a babe scale. Let's just say that I would not f her. I am thinking of not chatting, but early morning dementia got the best of me.
I figured I could be nice, talk for a bit then leave to sleep. After a brief hello, I text, "Tell me something about yourself that I will find interesting enough to talk instead of sleeping."
She texts me something forgetable, even if it were not 0300.
It was enough to see if I could get some practice in my online chatting.
We banter back and for a few times. I then text her, "Wanna play a game?"
"Sure"
"I'll think of an number between 1 and 10. If you guess within 2, you get to ask me anything you want to know and I will tell the truth. otherwise, you have to tell me something I would never guess about you."
"OK"
"But, if you tell me you used top be a man, i am so outta here! LOL!"
She guesses and I buzz that she was wrong. She tells me something about herself. We banter how my life relates to that. Then I tell her to guess again.
I encourage her that she was close enough, like she was some sort of pro. She asks me something. I answer and as the texting was dying down, i tell her to guess again.
We continue this for about a half hour. Of course I was making the numbers up after she guessed. And, the winner was not important to me. What was important is that through the ruse of a game, I was able to build rapport and keep a conversation interesting.
I've done the same with playing quarters and playing Fast & Loose.
What this game does is allows her to ask questions that she might use to DQ you as a mate, but you answer with a DHV. It also forces her to qualify by telling about herself that you can neg or comfort depending on what the situation needs.
It allows you to talk about how you feel about things. Expressing feelings is a major DHV.
