k... So most people who have been involved in pick-up for a while know plenty of games or routines to play with a girl in person when building attraction and comfort (murder, marry, shag game; 5 lies game; best-friends test; strawberry fields etc). These are great for when conversation is starting to run a bit dry, when you're running out of DHV stories and the girl will soon be getting bored. But what I was wondering is... does anybody have any similar games that can be used when having an online conversation, on an instant messenger for example. So you've gotten a girls IM address and are building attraction and comfort but you hit an awkward silence. Anyone got any games you could use here?

I do a lot of Online Game. #1 there is nothing wrong with silence. In fact, in a dead silence is a good thing and can be used to your advantage. So, if you are talking to this girl and you insert a silence. Let's say she starts talking to reinitiate the conversation. Well that is a nice solid IOI.

Online Game isn't much different than game in real life. The games you can play in person with a few exceptions can be played online. You could do the Cube, Mystery's Question Game, 5 Lies if you want to. Seriously, though within a few hours or less on IM you should be able to get her phone number. Then you don't have to worry about the other so much.

I'm going to have to agree with jsmooth here and say sometimes silence can be an excellent tool. There are two things you don't want to do when IMing...1)You don't want to always be at your computer available to talk on IM. Or if you really are by your computer at all times...at least don't leave your SN available all day long. Either sign off for periods of time or put up a funny or interesting away message. So it looks like you do something other than sit on your computer all day

2) You don't want to always be the available one when actually IMing either. Every now and then I'll throw in a 'brb' and just not say anything for a good 5-10 minutes just to keep them waiting on me while indirectly showing them I have other things going on as well. And then it's a nice set up cause you can play around with them and how much they missed you during your afk and couldn't contain themselves while you were gone

Good point man! This all goes back to the DHV spike of "non needy behavour." This demonstration of this as he's suggesting makes you seem busy and more of a rare commodity. Women like things that are rare and hard to get.

If there are moments of silence could you try turning into something funny or dhv... Im short of ideas but something funny like "sorry about that...i just had to run and put my superhero outfit on and rescue a cat stuck up a tree" really rubbish example as my mind is blank but something like that?

Or how about a slight neg..." i love it when you're in a chatty mood" what do you think??
