For the first time ever i opened a set in public!!

I was in a coffee shop and these two girls HB8 and 5(?) asked the waiter if he spoke spanish (both were tourists from spain), withought thinking i just said 'hablo espanol' and that was it. We chat for bout 1/2 hour, i made loads of mistakes that i relise now but im sooo glad i finally opened a set in public.

I telegraphed way to much intrest mainly leaning in too much, i negged a bit but i didnt give them any compliments (not sure if im supposed to?).
I kinda screwed up the no. close but i was almost there, just before i left we were talkin about music and HB8 was writing down artists that i should listen to on a napkin, i shoulda asked her to put her no. down aswell.

But anyways i just wanted to say that it was soooooo worth it and i am glad that after so much reaserch online and reading i finally opened a set with randomers outside skl, work or club/bars.

So anyone who has massive AA in public like me, just go for it, im never ever gonna see them again, i live in a massive city, so what did i loose, NOTHING, and i gained soooo much confidence.

We're in the same boat, it's actually a long row out of AA/SA, and I'd say you're on your way.

That's actually not a bad number close routine, because she was already writing when you asked her. Just make sure to exchange numbers next time, I always forget that part. Awesome job though!
