I'm not sure how long ago i made this username, but i posted here regarding my issues of social anxiety and particular problem stemming from my heart rate. Basically i'd get a sort of panic attack whenever i had a social interaction with a woman or at times even considered approaching a woman. It'd take just about everything in me just to not stutter, but doing anything else at the moment was SOL
Anyhow long story short: Several people suggested some ideas, but i couldnt stand to do any them because of my excessive heart rate. Then i sought some professional help and was advised to try an SSRI anti-dep medicine. It took a few different trys to find one that doesnt have the dreaded anti-climax effect. The difference was/is night and day. That medicine completely got rid of that type of anxiety while i did simple interactions. After awhile I became use to having interactions without that awful side-effect of anxiety that everyone feels.
Before part of my issue was that even if i could push through an interaction, it was still extremely unpleasant feeling and i could never gain anything from it.
Obviously this medicine wont have you go from introvert to full-blown ladies man, but it certain helps and F'd up problem related to anxiety.
Hope it helps someone.
