I tend to have an easier time talking with girls once I find out they are unavailable or taken, i.e they have a boyfriend, married, etc., and I haven't yet fallen head over heals. Anybody have done that? Pretend they are taken? So, hopefully it's easier to approach?.

On a relationship site, a female suggested I try that. I understand the reasoning, get me to relax and approach. But, I don't understand the logic behind it either. Just wanted to hear what guys or PUAs think. I haven't used that inner game. I think it could work against me too--subconsciously conveying myself into the LJBF zone.

The way I see it.... all women are fair game unless she tells you she's attached(even then you have a pretty good shot) or she is actually with her man when you see or approach her.

In my opinion thinking an HB has a man (before even talking to her) only discourages you from approaching. 8)
