Quick thought on Confidence

I just had to add this quote from the online class I am taking called "Individual Excellence" with regards to goal-setting:

"Lack of Confidence

To make a commitment, you must believe that you have the ability to accomplish a goal. Lack of confidence is influenced by past failures, lack of support and lack of familiarity with the subject matter."

To put this in the positive, basically an abundance of confidence stems from past successes, a strong support system, and being an expert on the subject. This works for pretty much any subject.

I think the concept to a sucessful life at all whether its PUA, work , investments, socialisig, wife, kids, sports- is to beleive you can, if you dont, you lack confidence when it matters....obviously
by the way what is this class out of curiosity?

"Individual Excellence" is a 6 week online class through www.ed2go.com It covers topics such as goal setting, career search, personal finance, and communication. I am on my 2nd lesson and I love it so far.
