Many people say that I am generally a very anxious person who may have anxiety issues. People have also commented on me just being "weird" in general. I am not sure why I would be odd but whatever. People also say that I am good looking, but ironically I feel as if there is something psychologically wrong with me. I think this has been getting in the way of me meeting new girls. This has been making me extremely depressed and I may need to go to a psychiatrist if it gets worse.

Any advice for me?

If I were you, see somebody just to talk about your issues before things get worse. The LAST thing you want to happen is for prolonged depression to fester into a mental illness. From your post, you realize that you might have some issues and if seeing a Doc is possible then go for it. They have seen these types of things all the time and are there to help you. Good luck!

Inner game issues my friend. Theres nothing wrong with you. Its just your mind that has you by the balls! Fuck what other people think. Do you want to live life for the next 20 years caring what others think? Imagine how your life will be 5 years from now if you have this problem. Imagine. And be thankful that that time is not here yet. My friend, I know EXACTLY where your coming from. I have been there and I have done that. My anxiety has tremendously reduced and now I can do things I never though id be able to do.

Anxiety is completely normal. In your case people just can see it in you. You need to work on your inner game. But mostly from what I see your confidence. The opposite of anxiety is confidence. So start working on your confidence and in the long run youll look back and say "Wow, was that really me" and just smile because thats not you ANYMORE. Id fristly reccomend Eckhart Tolles Power of Now, then Psycho-cybernetics by maxwell maltz, and third off think and grow rich by Napoleon hill. These 3 are LIFE CHANGERS. I guarantee that these 3 books will change your life if you put your time in them and actually do the exercises and techniques.

Once your done let me know how things are going.

Don't worry. There is nothing wrong with you. You are not the only one with anxiety issues. I used to have a lot of anxiety too. Most of my anxiety dissapeared with time. Of course people think you are weird. If you are scared to say 'Hi' to someone, you will behave weird. That doesn't mean you are weird. You are just uncomfortable with the situation and for other you come across as weird. But you aren't weird because you realize that you should have said 'Hi' back but your social anxiety prevented you from doing that.

If the problem is really serious the best is indeed to go to a psychiatrist. Good luck with it.

Hi,

Anxiety is normal, and you're by no means the only person to suffer from it even though it may feel like it.

I've had/still do have anxiety attacks, pretty severe where I feel I'm losing control of myself - though due to other issue unrelated to the nature of this forum. Feel free to look at me and say "at least its not as bad as his" lol but yeah, what I want to point out is seeing a therapist as I stalled in doing so for a long time which I regret.

Murs.
