Hey, I am very shy when it comes to women, I usually don´t have the courage to start talking to women I see who I reall want to. What do yuou think I should do? Like, I was thinking about starting out (which I have done a bit this week) with just asking strangers (not only women that look interested, but others as well) and ask for the time, ask for a direction or ask them if they have a cigaretlighter (which isn´t so good since I usually don´t smoke, but I just dit it to do something) But I don´t know, it feels like it has helped me a little bit, my anxiety is a bit less now when it comes to these things but it doesn´t feel like I get cotact with anyone, like when I have asked my question thats it. So, where should I take it from here? I am not so much into doing some of the things that I read about here on the forum, like playing differnet kinds of roles, I am more into the thought of being myself and kind of get the courage to be myself when I contact other people, because right now I am just nervous and thats not who I am/want to be. I wolud really appreciate any help. Thanks

Hello,
I have been doing involved in pick up for about 6 months and now can open sets and get a positive response usually. It wasn't like that until i got out of my comfort zone and started talking to people even when I was having terrible anxiety and feeling very uncomfortable indeed.
As I look back now, I can see that I have extended the boundaries on what was my previuos comfort zone. I enjoy talking to people and do things now that previously would have given me a panic attack.

So, my only recomendation would be to experience your bad feelings but do it anyway and bit by bit before you know it you will find yourself a much more confident person but you have to make the effort.
