| We all understand approach anxiety, because we all have it. Even Mystery himself admits to getting that same feeling in his stomach when he is about to approach a woman.
But imagine the absolute worst thing that could happen. Maybe you go up to a girl and she says, "fuck off, loser." Now I would say for someone using common sense (not approaching a girl when she is obviously very pissed) that the chances of a response like that are incredibly minuscule.
I have only been a part of this world for a couple of weeks now, and I was deathly afraid of the approach myself. Actually before my first day game approach, I was walking around the grocery store practicing what I was going to say when I realized I was actually talking out loud at full volume; I probably looked like a total idiot, and I am about 80% sure the girl I was planning to approach heard me talking to myself! But it's okay, because I just found another girl and approached her instead.
The main thing to remember is that the girls who don't like you will forget you. Only the girls that like you will remember you. But every girl has respect for the guy with enough balls to go up to her and start a conversation. In the past couple of weeks, I have had several girls flat out tell me, "You know, I've got to say I'm pretty impressed, most guys would have just walked past and not said anything." They like a guy who can fend for himself, who is not afraid of their opinions.
There is a feeling worse than approach anxiety. There is a feeling worse than rejection. That feeling is regret. Every time I walk past an HB that I could have approached, I feel 1000 times worse than I would if she told me to fuck off.
If you approach, you win. That's it, that's how you have to start out. The outcome is negligible. And trust me, by the time you approach the 10th or 20th girl, you will have forgotten all about the first, she will have forgotten you too.
