Tomorrow I'm going to rid myself of AA over time by simply starting at the bottom by saying hi to strangers then phoning strangers and eventually stoping strangers for conversations. Is that a good idea? Taking it step by step mastering each step before moving on. When I say mastering I mean being comfortable doing what I am doing.

Check out the Herbal bootcamp in my sig there. It's pretty good if you want some structure.

Today I went to the park for a quarter of an hour and said hi to over ten people. I know nobody here cares or that that amount for saying a simple hi is difficult but it did make me realise something. Few people acknowledge each other on the street these days. Only four people said hi back. It was a good idea. Just wanna start off with hi and not feel like an idiot then begin a conversation when that has been achieved.

Thanks

If small steps are what you're comfortable with, then small steps it must be. Most of this PUA stuff is just a giant mind game, once you figure out frame, learn that you have nothing to lose, and pre-program a few basics into your head, you win.

Persistence is key!

Well done Taveran. I am usually too anxious even to say Hi. Other things you might do are to ask for directions, ask people where they bought their clothes. This is what I intend to do too although the most I have done recently is ask for directions.

I live in London and I agree most people are not friendly. I think you are in Ireland. I have been in smaller towns there and find some people are more inclined to say hi than in the big city. It's not good, but that's the way it is.
