Shyness and being introverted much different

I was reading an article in a psychology magazine, in which they were talking about shyness and overcoming it. Its interesting to point out that people who are shy are not the same as introverts. In fact, shy people are much closer to an extrovert personally, in that they want to be social people, they are just self-conscious for one reason or another. Introverts simply aren't social people. So basically shy people are extroverts, just haven't shown it yet.

Thought that was interesting.

Wow that is actually a surprisingly good way of putting it, I never quite knew what I was because while I have some trouble expressing myself to others, in my I head I am like pretty much the opposite, as in "WTF!!!, do this, not that, do A, skip B, you idiot, good job"... lol, almost a completely different personality, I guess if I expressed that side more I would communicate better, but what an asshole I'd be :P
