I started resenting other people being happy. Despite that I did everything to keep people happy (lying to myself it made me happy) and wished I had someone like me in my life.
I think I read a book or something which got me thinking about why I don't have the same things as other people. My grandpa told me a story about how a cop was disrespecting him being rasict so he stabbed him. I started seeing how people built business and how people got girls.
That's when I discovered the main thing is to just go for it. Embrace yourself and that you may fail sometimes but you will only learn. If you want something take it.
When I started going for what I wanted life was a lot better. I demanded a promotion and got it. Asked the girl I've had a crush on for a date and got it. I even went into school simply asked the teacher to raise my grade and surprisingly she did.
I did get rejected for somethings but I noticed the worst that can happen is you'll get a no and your life won't change
So here's my challenge:
For the rest of this week I want you to go for it.
If you see a girl you like say hi and get her number.
If you see someone interesting talk to them
If someone asks you something you don't want to do say no
If you're feeling bold go demand (or politely ask) for a raise.
And on Saturday I would like to know if it worked out.
