Hello everyone. Well, shyness is not exactly the issue, as I am more of an introvert type of guy, but I couldn't find any section that suits better my topic. My major problem is that I fail to find any pleasure from hanging out with AFCs and interacting with people in general. I just feel as if it is a pointless and useless process with nothing to offer to me. It turns out that feelings are mutual, as people don't enjoy talking to me, either. So, I may exchange some words with someone and then the chit chat will make me extremely bored or my mind will go completely blank and won't come up with anything interesting or funny to say. I have tried pushing myself, but people don't seem to appreciate my efforts, probably because of the bad first impression. I want so much to put and end to this story, as it is what holds me back most from meeting women and deprives me of opportunities in the long run, not only warm approaches. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have taken a look at this book. It appears that my mind is a bit influenced by the Mystery Method which states that you must not convey any interest to your target, unless it has earned it. However, men don't need the same approach as women, right? The thing is that I find a hard time showing interest to someone who hasn't already shown something interesting to me. And, skipping that part, what happens when you manage to get to know some person? After you have found out all the basic info about him (age, work, hobbies etc), what will you have to talk about, especially if you don't share any common ground, such as pick up? As you can see, I need to sarge guys, as well, and a game theory on socializing would be most welcome.
