I'm new in this forum and I need some advice from people with experience. But first of all let me give you an idea of who I am. I am not a total beginner, I'm 21 and my experiences are limited to a bunch of kiss/sexless dates and a 'two-night-stand'. I really was not sure where to put this thread, but I think this group fits the most. I am, unfortunately, very picky with girls although I am not successful. I watched tons of PUA videos and read a lot articles but poorly applied what I have read/seen. So here's the thing:
It takes days to find a girl I find interesting and I feel motivated to put some effort into. And I get very specific. One girl in my class. I am desperate as I don't know what to do and what will happen if I do something. Should I take the shot and ask her out, with a high probability of being rejected? And if it happens, will it maybe even DAMAGE my self esteem? Because I have to see her every week. Or is it part of the process to lose approach anxiety? I talked with her already, she likes me as a person, but I avoided to have too much contact as I don't want to get friendzoned. One more thing: Do you use a different strategy in this kind of setting? This is no Night-game where you possibly won't have a chance to talk to this girl ever again if you don't take the shot. Does this setting require you to be more precise? And if yes, what do you do?
I'm really down because I still think like i'm 16, I am grateful about every honest advice.

You don't have to avoid that, if you really like that girl, make friends with her, we didn't know, someday that fear of yours to be a friend-zone, will turn out to be your girlfriend. We don't know what really the result, but you have to try it, just don't expect too much.
