No matter what your CURRENT EMOTIONAL STATE may be upon entering a venue, it is subject to change depending upon the FREQUENCY and IMMEDIACY of your social interactions. (3 SECOND RULE!)
For example,
This last Monday I went out and was in a positive state, however upon entering the first venue I was hesitant and didn't approach straight away.
Now this had huge consequences on the rest of my night and the turn of events. ( I approached about 3 sets ALL night in two separate venues).
Due to my initial reluctance, it completely disembodied the insane vibe that I started off with and more importantly prevented any MOMENTUM from sparking throughout the evening.
Guys MOMENTUM can be the line between the success and failure in field and I attribute my own SUCCESSES and FAILURES to this. When you are in that STATE when you really don't give a fuck you will get successes (your CONVICTION will be higher than hers and you will SUB-COMMUNICATE this!!) and this STATE will only occur from MOMENTUM.
Instead of post-rationalizing your actions whilst in the field, do so at the end of the night as this will also kill your SOCIAL MOMENTUM.
Guy's this sense of MOMENTUM is not some arbitrary technique that you can learn from a book or forum... it requires field experience and CALIBRATION.
Get out there and interact with everyone guys from the word go. I say scrap the 3 SECOND RULE and substitute it for the NO SECOND RULE!).
Peace
Droogle.
