Hi guys,

I'm new to this, and I want to work on the first step towards becoming good with women: Overcoming shyness and anxiety. I am going to be travelling to various cities for the next few weeks and I will use this time to practice talking to random people and getting numbers.

I was just wondering if anyone knows or can suggest 'achievements' to unlock to help overcome social shyness, to use gaming terminology. For example, 'achievements' I can think of right now are:
- Say hi to 10 random strangers
- Strike up a conversation with 5 women
- Compliment a woman
- Get rejected (yes, I think this one is good for becoming comfortable with rejection)
- Get a number close.

So guys, is there a list similar to this out there? Perhaps we could contribute to this list in this thread?

I was out with my housemate yesterday and he had a hard time approaching a girl and running the opener we practiced. Eventually he did what Lovedrop calls a double take at a bar,approached a single set and was actually chatting her up for a bit. Point is, after that approach he just felt more confident because he actually approached a girl regardless of the outcome. So yes start with approaching randoms at day venues, but if you go out in bars and clubs, try running your opener 5 times every night. After the first 3, it just starts getting easier and easier!
