Okay so to start off, everyone i went to highschool with either knows me, or does not.. The people that do know me know im a shy quiet guy..

So, in highschool i was very shy and quiet.. Did not talk to people much..

2 years later, i still hang out with my friends from highschool. ' The popular kids'

I have gotten into Pick Up and am getting pretty competent in it and know what to say and do..

In clubs or on the street im good..

But when i hang out with girls from my highschool i go dead.. why?

Example would be last night.. We had a bon fire and my friend invited all these girls we went to highschool with.. I couldnt open any of them!

I think it is because they were all talking to people about things i could not even relate to ( High School Stuff) and if i tried to talk to them, some guy they know pretty well would just talk about something completely different that interests them ( they all know each other well) ( AMOG yeah, still need to work on amog defense)

So, why cant i open girls i went to highschool with at a social gathering? I think its because they already know my reputation as being the quiet guy, so that image stays with me every time i hang out with girls that graduated with me..

The first thing I can tell you is you are giving yourself an excuse and limiting view. "I think its because they already know my reputation as being the quiet guy, so that image stays with me" Are you the same person as in High school? NO, and I doubt these girls remember your "reputation" when you said you didn't even talk to people in HS.
Another reason is that you are expecting too much and putting too much pressure only because you have seen these girls before.

Next time go in and have fun. Joke around with the "Amogs" then if you see someone you want to talk to have them join your group and make your own inside jokes. You should be talking to everyone not just girls. You want this social circle to be Your social circle not just be the shy guy that sits in the corner.
