hey pua,

I´m 22 and in a mental health center right now for social phobia, depersonalization and depression.
I got to know this girl almost 4 years ago and almost instantly fell in love with her.
we never even kissed, in fact, I never kissed any girl.
it was on and off, all the time. we had lot´s of comfort but i didn´t build any attraction. friends always told her that I still had feelings and we separated some times but got closer again eventually until I couldn´t go on like this and broke up any contact until recentl. she´s always texting me life isn´t the same without me, although she has a boyfriend right now.
we had an uttering yesterday and for the first time I told her how I felt for her and asked if she ever had similar feelings, which she didn´t approve of directly.

bottom line: having surpressed these feelings for two years, I know that I still want her.

we´re living 400km apart from each other. the first thought that came up after our reunionen was to surprise her and tell her I still feel for her. It just felt too right to talk about our feelings to go to zero and start to build attraction..

any thoughts and comments are appriciated,

thanks keef

Hello keef_is_good,

Take all the time you need to cure yourself. I know what you are living because last year I was in a one-itis with a girl I met two years ago. One year ago, we decided to stop communicating. During this time, I began to realized all the mistakes I made and the bad attitudes I was having like negativity and depression kind of state.

Last week, the girl called me after one year and she wanted to hang out so we walked and talked for a few hours and when she left I was not feeling bad because I realized that my one-itis was over. I was not having any feeling for her anymore.

I just want to tell you that each person is different. It took me about two years to get rid of my one-itis. Another guy will maybe take three or six months and another one three years. The best thing to do I think is to meet more women, go out with your male friends, do some sports and have fun without girls. The busier you are the less time you will have to think about her.

Good luck in your journey and don't forget; Meet more women :)
