Whats up guys,
the other night i had went to a social gathering, heres the scenario:
Me and 2 friends of mine are in the club and were by the bar, were standing there not looking so important which killed us, (lol) so anyways as were having a conversation i notice that theres this woman thats taking picturs of a bunch of, which seemed to me ,random people so i think hmmm..how would i open with her, so i thought HER CAMERA!, (NOTE: SHE IS VERY CLOSE TO US) so i lean over to her but with my left shoulder facing her and i say

ME: " WHAT ARE YOU THE HIRED PHOTOGRAPHER OR SOMTHING
HB7: OH YEA, I AM
ME: PFFT..ARE YOU MAKING ALOT OF MONEY DOING THIS
HB7: YEA ( AND SHE SAID SOME AMOUNT WHICH I DIDNT REALLY CARE FOR)
ME: THATS GOOD, BECAUSE I ONLY TALK TO WOMEN THAT MAKE ALOT OF MONEY
HB7: OH YEA?! LOL,
ME: YEA
HB7: HAHA, IM JUST KIDDING, IM NOT A REAL PHOTOGRAPHER I JUST LIKE TAKE PICTURES
ME: LOL THEN WHY DON'T YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF SOMTHIN WORTHWHILE, HERE TAKE A PICTURE OF US, ( ME AND HER) AND SO WE BOTH LEAN IN AND SHE DOES, THERE WE GO, GOOD JOB AND I GIVE HER A PAT AS IF SHE A LITTLE DOG AND JUST TURN BACK TO MY FRIENDS..

BUT SHE STILL KEPT GETTING CLOSE TO US AND TAKING PICS..

I KNOW I COULDVE KEPT ON BUT I JUST DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING IN THE CAN.. THIS WAS ALL IMPROMTU..

SO WHAT IM SUGGESTIN IS MAYBE USING WHAT THE PERSON IS DOING TO OPEN COULD BE USED IN A POWERFUL MANNER IF DONE RIGHT.. OR IF A GIRL IS SITTING DOWN ASK HER " IF SHES USUALLY THIS BORING?" LOL..BUT OF COURSE THIS IS ALL DONE WITH SOME HUMOR

Ahh well you should have thought about some interesting things to dhv yourself and talk about before going out. I like to make a cheat sheet sometimes to keep me on track. I find it really helpful and then when I get to comfort I turn off game.

Nice situational opener! There are my favorites. Every chump can use some canned stuff that he read about in the book or saw it on VH1 but situational stuff are great in developing a great game since it requires fast thinking, improvisation and they make you apear really natural. You should continue with other stuff since she obviously felt good with you but anyway, nice job!

I usually like to use my surroundings to start a conversation. Then, I use canned material openers. I'm still new to the game but, I'm sure I'll naturalize my own routines as I continue to get experience.
