I sat down and asked myself, "why don't i have a girlfirend?"
I go to a social situation everyday, but i never meet new people there. And it is not to my interest to suddenly after five months of AFC behaviour, and five months left, to start hitting on any classmates :?

Now what i'd rather do is this: Start going out more! exept for one christmas party (that actually went splendid without me having to open anyone, because i myself got approached)i hadn't been out since may 2007 (wich was when i started reading MM and PUA stuff).

Now my main issue is where to go... I don't tell anyone close to me that i'm in this thing, but most friends of mine are somewhat afc'ish and thse that go out... well i never really asked them about parties etc, only implied that i wanted to come.

So what i realized after the crhistmas party is this: If i rarely get out, i'il never be successfull. I put to much importance on all interactions because i have to few.

Okay first off when you are starting out it is somewhat of a numbers game in the sense that the more sets you get use to opening the more comfortable you will get with Approach Anxiety and calibrating. The more you go out and sarge the easier things will become. I'm not sure how old you are, but the clubs are the battlefields of PUA. They are target rich environments that give the most opportunities for approaching in a single evening. If that is not a possibility for you because of age, then I would suggest malls, coffee shops, parks, festivals, your friends parties, or anywhere else you can think of that people gather. Try and make it a habit to go out a few times a week at the least to sarge, with no expectations but to have a good time meeting people.

You're right if you don't go out often you'll beat yourself up for the few times you go out and fail. You have to get out there and fail some to succeed. Hell I still fail more than I succeed but the numbers are getting better. After you get use to going out more it won't be a big deal to talk to your friends about attending parties. They'll be able to see you are more sociable.
