What do you think? Is there a (dis)advantage for learning PUAｓ　to consult a woman out of their friend group about approaching, picking up and dating a girl they love? I'm not talking about girls in general but a girl who is pretty close to your friend group.

I always thought that you should never tell anyone your learning PUA and trying to pick up some girl. Not even ask other girls for help.

One thing you'll learn is girls don't know what they want. They think they do logically but on an emotional level they have no clue

I don't think it's a bad thing. I see people on here who have women wings and often say they're better. Personally, I've never done that before as such, but if I've been out with my housemates (we're a mixed house), then one of the girls will often be a pretty decent "wing" in situ so to speak!

But even if you don't tell them you're doing this stuff as a "pick up artist", I think it's a good idea to discuss stuff with women. The girl who sometimes "wings" with me, we're really close, we did have a bit of a fling at one point, but that's probably made us better friends afterwards and I often get advice from her. She's a woman. Obviously she doesn't know how EVERY woman thinks, but it doesn't hurt to get a female perspective on a lot of the stuff - it can often show you how to adapt certain parts of the stuff you'll read on here for the better.
