Last night my uncle came In the room with a bowl of cereal. He ate that shit so fucking loud and obnoxious... Chewing, Slurping, lip smacking, heavy breathing , the clanking of spoon on the fucking glass bowl.

I started hyperventilating and felt so angry and aggressive I pounched the computer table and walk out cursing under my breathe.

I'm not a violent person. I never consider harming or acting rude or mean..
But Nothing makes me rage like hearing the sound of people eating.

It feels like my ancient animal instincts coming out and looking for murder.

discuss? I have had this problem for all my teen years.

haha. It drives me crazy when people eat loudly or talk while eating or chew with their mouth open too. I've never gone as far as storming out of the room though.

But I can relate in a way

Tell him politely to chew with his mouth closed.

My dad always used to slurp soup around his mouth before swallowing it. Horrible. I moaned at him all the time, but he never stopped. In the end, I would just go and eat somewhere else!

Haha, if you're never angry etc. it sounds like you're bottling other stuff up and it's come out here in a fairly mundane environment.

Just, even if it's in a jokey way, tell him you have heard gunshots quieter than his chomping then annoy him back. Play the drums on the table, turn the TV up, throw a pillow at his head. If it's annoying you need to get it out but you don't neccisarily have to be a dick about it. I mean you could even be rather serious and say seriously dude that is driving me mad, girls must hate eating with you, you gotta sort that out. little lighthearted laugh.

This made me laugh by the way, i'm exactly the same so i'll try take my own advice here!

Oh shit, maybe it is stuff bottled up inside of me, iv lived threw extreme stressful envirments most my life and i handle it in a some what passive way.

I think for the most part i ignore it, and whatever, but most of the anxious feelings stays stored inside of me somewhere on the surface.

Annoying shit like food eating sets them off, hence me getting pissed -.-
