From Style himself:

rAFC: "Excuse me, this will only take a moment but tonight I'm just going out meeting people. My names ________ and I just wanted to say hi"
SET: *Response*

Then move onto another set.
My Suggestion: Move to another set somewhere away from the last set so you don't look like a convetor belt going through the club and desperate for attention.

You'll meet everyone in the club and everyone will know your name (Social Proof). It's innocent enough and you don't have any expectations. But if you want to run routine stacks, you've already made them comfortable to an extent with you and false disqualified already by moving on.

I know its not considered lying, it's flirting. But if there response has something to do with why you are out meeting new people...how can you respond?

Lie and say I am new to the area?

That's an absolute great opener for conversation. You can take it anywheres.

"Well my friends never like clubs..."

"Have you ever thought there was more than what your comfortable too..."

"I've done the same thing over and over again, and I want something new..."

"Haven't you ever done anything just because you haven't?"

All of these are openers to DHV and open threads.

Interesting. I never thought of it like that. I'll have to try that out.

I found this video on "How to Lord a Club" on a board a while back. Not sure if it's been posted here already, but here goes:

I think that clubs and things should be used for opening. If you want to do things like that you should go to a mall and say hi to every girl who walks past. In a club you should seriously focus on opening, but thats just my opinion.
