Hey guys, this is my first time posting on this section of the boards.

So a little background, my dad died when I was really young and me and my sister were raised by my mom (who never got re-married). My family is also very female dominated (cousins, aunts) so I've always been around women growing up (The men in my family also have a history of getting wrapped around their wives finger, but that's another story).

Anyways, this means that I've always been more confident talking to girls than guys. This isn't necessarily a problem, I just worry that it affects my game because it's almost impossible for me to develop a "leader of men" persona when it's just so much easier for me to talk to chicks.

Does anybody else have a similar problem? Any tips for overcoming it?

I used to have this same problem. Part of the reason I joined a fraternity. I could always talk to women one-on-one no problem. But when It came to guys I froze up....the reason why I froze up was because I was seeking the males approval. And its the same thing with women. You dont need anyone's approval unless its your asking to purchase something and you need somebody to sign off on it.

The more you realize that other men play a big part in picking up women, the opportunities youre gonna have. Most of the time the women that they are with arent even "with" them. They are just in a group. Men are just like you, were all into the same thing, women, music, games, and most important pride. Just compliment a man on what he does and ask him to tell you more. At that moment you have taken his defense down and he will assume you arent some creeper coming onto his women.
