I am 17 years of age havent had a gf or even come close to a kiss. Im perceived as looking sad or angry. I dont feel this way but I do know it was caused when I was young as I was put down by my aunt saying not to smile and not to have fun but obviously she made it so fustrating for me when I was about 10. Thats when I decided not to smile and keep my smile inwards hence my teeth never sticks out and on photos I look miserable. Anyways to the point This has had an effect on me socially, I never go out Im always in the house, I do have friends but I dont even know how to approach and I dont know what I like anymore. I also dont know if this is physological. Can someone please help me.

I think you've made a great step in identifying the cause of your problem. But you can solve it. You say you decided not to smile. Now decide to smile again
Check out links on smiling , self confidence, approaching and inner game . Work on your inner game but just as important get out and approach. Do not have any expectations good or bad. just approach and say something. Follow the 3 second rule. it's amazing that in those 3 seconds your brain will generate an opening line.
Start small and just aim to approach people to say hi, ask the time or for directions anything. just get out there and talk. Build from that.
Good luck. You can do it
