1) Stop smoking. Get the nicotine patches to control yourself.
2) This is trained behavior from childhood and your social circle. You are conditioned to act like a beta male in the company of those who you perceive to be stronger, or have more status than you.
3) You can break out of this pattern by introducing yourself to new experiences and conditioning your mind to value yourself higher in others' company. One of the ways to do this is to listen to NLP before you go to sleep...search Paul McKenna.
