LOLLLLLLL oh god..... why am.... i posting.... this LOL... might as well

okay. Today went to my local best buy to check out a few games. I went with my family so I wasnt really in sarge mode even though I should be. Anyways I make my way into the movie section and through the selections. I end up at the anime section as many anime fans do lol well I was looking at this movie and out of nowhere came this HB8.. wow I looked at her and she smiled at me... IOI perhaps? I smiled back. Then quickly glanced to my movie. What to say? I though instead of the 3second rule. While I was looking through the movies I could see out of the corner of my eye her staring at me every now and again. I froze!. What happens you ask? she puts her movie back and goes away I thought. wHAT COULD POSSSIBLY MAKE IT WORST? I get AA onitis you can say LOL? it was weird quick possibilities of what the dates and fun we could have and then... SHE COMES BACK? goes into the same section, picks up the same movie and stays there reading again. She leaves and FUCKING COMES BACK. Then she left WTF!!!!! Believe me guys go easy on me thats probally the easiest IOI's I think.. is there any hope for me

next time, get over your AA, and just blurt something out. that smile should have instantly made you say somrthing. It's cool though dude, i get the same way when i'm with family, or sometimes even when i'm with my AFC friends.

It happens to everybody during the beginning of their PUA lives. Don't even sweat it, my brother. Quick note: Even if you like Anime, don't let women know you like it (which includes being seen looking for it). It's about as popular with the ladies as herpies.

Approaching is NOT hard to get over, just the anticipation of it is. If you think it's more of an Inner Game issue, look into NLP to improve your inner game. That's my personal advice.

I still have approaching problems at times. But I'm getting better way better.

It's funny beacuse when it comes to contact humans inbetween, most people are in fact happy when spoken to. And usually open to contact as long as they don't feel threatened. Me myself I'm happy when spoken to by strangers, I take it as a compliment, meaning that the person who chose to speak to me(boy or girl), did it beacuse he felt "safe" doing it.
So as long as you can open up with something that doesen't make her feel threatened you are good to go.

If I were you I'd open up when she started looking at the movies something ala "that movie really sucks *smiling at her*" opens up for a whole conversation.

Man those are the situations I love. Give me any easy reason to open and its on. Would have said. "wow you have to see this one its great!" even if i never seen the movie before. And then just talk about anime while remembering your game. I just start convos about anything when im in the store thats the best time to get over AA.

I hear ya.. I have an issue where I can think of a million clever C&F things to say AFTER the fact but when in the moment I freeze.

Every now and then I can actually come up with it on the spot. I would've poked fun at her for looking at anime movies. This could have easily led on to a favorite movies topic which has LOADS of opportunities for Negs and building comfort IMO.

The moment you saw her you should have opened just by thinking of the 3 second rule you basically broke it. Well, I don't blame you I would have done better.

But you could have opened very basically by staring at her bluntly, and when she notices, saying 'What is a girl like you doing in the anime section?' Bam, opened and started talking about a subject you know a lot about... thats a winner right there.
