The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus (clandestine, hidden, secret), referring to "knowledge of the hidden. Basically how to see the elusive obvious.

I personally believe that in the past people in power suppressed the 'normal people' and denied them access to this knowledge so they would become easier to manipulate hence the creation of religion etc.

Only recently are we living in a society where it is not frowned upon to be non-religious and this is leading to rediscovery of this hidden knowledge,Which to me is exactly what P.U.A is.

Well you can go in a lot of directions with this, most of them dangerous.

I think the only "occult" things that might help you are yoga, meditation, breathing and visualization exercises.

I've studied mostly everything "occult" there is to study from alchemy to wiccan magic, most world religions etc., I can tell you if I actually used any of those things to work for my social life, I think I'd have a pretty fucked up life and a dark conscience.

Keep the oil and the water separate, use spiritual tools when spiritual tools are needed, and work hard when hard work has to be done.

indeed, the occult is 99% just bull.
one couldn't even hurt a fly by using "magic" sigills.
