For those who don't know what this is, it is a dream you have where somehow you become completely aware that you are dreaming (in your dream). Apparently you can do pretty much anything in your dream at this point as long as you don't wake up. I realize I have had a few lucid dreams as a kid only in nightmares though and I would try to blink really fast in my dream trying to get out.
I was just curious if anyone has experienced a lucid dream where they were able to achieve complete control of their dreams. Apparently it is really hard to do but with practice it can come easy (as with anything pretty much haha).

I kept a dream journal and every morning when I woke up, I would write in it before I forgot what the dream was. After about two weeks I started to become aware I was in a dream, but couldn't actively control it.
Wish I had carried on with it. When I was reading up about it I read about a concert violinist who used it to train and swore by it. I can see it being a good training tool for developing inner game. Let me know how you get on man.

Although your mind is a powerful thing and you may be controlling one aspect dont underestimate it because it will be creating different occurrences all around you. My first one ended when I ran into one of my friends in my dreams and completely freaked out when i realized i was controlling every one of his reactions, and overall it just wasnt him. The second was when i laid down to take a short nap, the nap itself lasted about 45 minutes but my perception of time in the dream was somewhere around 3 or 4 hours.
best thing you should do if you would like to achieve a lucid dream would be to wake up every morning and write down as much as you can remember, it trains your mind to be more active while you sleep. DMT research that, what is released in your brain when you dream also causes you to forget. you will realize if you keep a journal your entries will begin to become longer as time goes on. that is your mind becoming more active and dmt not having the same effect of forgetfulness. It took me about 3 months of writing my dreams before I achieved a lucid dream, and it has been somewhere around 4 months since i have had my last one, although I have been too busy to keep a dream journal lately.
What kind of advantages do you see lucid dreaming could contribute to gaming? im really interested in finding out and hopefully going back to controlling lucid dreaming. _________________ Here to learn, improve, and contribute.

But I'm going to try it again, I have big inner game problems to work on and this might help. We could post our progress here.
