so im a 17 year old girl with braces but im getting them off in a few months. i feel like they hinder my opportunities with guys but im not sure. if you see a pretty girl but then realize she has braces, are you totally turned off or do you still approach etc?

I never dated a girl with braces but I've been attracted to more than one with them. I don't think they are really a huge deal unless you have the full head thing on. It does give an immature look to you, which isn't necessarily bad to a guy.

Make sure your teeth are clean though, bad breath is a huge turnoff, sometimes thats a dealbreaker for me.

I've really never heard of any guy get turned off by braces. I'm actually getting my teeth straightened but I opted for Invisalign SPAM because I knew I would be a bit self-concious wearing braces in my 20's.

You shouldn't be self-concious though, they're actually kind of cute :wink:
