Hi,

My name is FunkyFresh. I am a rAFC from Finland. I'm co-writing this thread with my wingman/best-friend Peakperformance. He introduced me to The Game by Neil Strauss last summer, right after he had read it. We have been working on our game ever since. Anyway, enough with introductions, lets get to the point.

The purpose of this thread is mainly to serve as a motivational blog for mine and peak's thoughts. It will work like an online diary for us that we can always come back to and see how we have changed and what we have learned. Why we decided to post it here publicly on the pick-up-artist-forum, is so that you can learn from us, cheer us, criticize us, teach us, whatever.

Eventually, I hope to see a transformation in us, from AFC to rAFC to PUA so it can all be seen from this thread. Let the tale begin!

Allright,

So let me tell you a little bit more about me. So before I learnt about this stuff, I was pretty much the basic AFC with an enormous one-itis to my ex that lived 40000km from me. Web-cam for the win eh? Not really. I had just moved away from overseas and I was in an unfortunate position where I had to begin re-building my entire life. Friends, school, work, everything. Fuuck

Then my friend peak introduced me to The Game and I was captivated.

For the past 9 months or so, I've been reading material, field-testing and most importantly; I've been having fun. Like Mystery said; It's not just about picking up women, its about building a LIFE. And so far, it's been an interesting journey with its ups and downs, twists and twirls. Ive fallen in love with women, people, myself and life. I can honestly say that I've never been happier.

Now, I'm not saying that my journey is complete, oh no, it has just begun. I have a million lessons to learn, experiences to experience and feelings to feel. And a million more. I'm happy that I took the reins of my life into my owns hands and I respect every single one of you that has done the same. And I'm happy to share this with my wingman peak and YOU.

Wow,

Just started listening to Eckhart Tolle's audiobook The Power Of Now. Very intresting. The basic idea of it is that you are not your mind nor are you your ego, and that there's a heightened sense of being behind your mind. And that your ego is preventing you from being your true self. I recommend this.

I've started reading tens of books related to pick-up and then quit them as soon as I lost faith and credibility in them. Only a few have been useful. This is useful for your inner game. Very nice so far. Quiets the voice inside of you that will not shut up.

Personal note: Enough with the theory, more action Funky!

What's up!
I'm Peakperformance. First of all, I would like to thank this cool community for coming up with fun and interesting posts on a daily basis, and for keeping my faith in the game strong.

I've always been very competitive at anything I take seriously. I find many elements that are crucial in sports can be found in other aspects of life. I guess my pu-name gives away more about me than you'd imagine. Like Funky said, I've been in the game for about 9 months now, and it has become a major part of my life. Like so many other people, I started with MM, but am now working towards being a natural. I've studied a little NLP and read quite a few PU-artists' work, though I feel I improve my game best when sharing/hearing opinions on life&game, and of course when getting out there.

Something I've learned, that is helpful is constantly figuring out what's holding your game back, and then fixing it. As a negative in my game SPAM I would state losing my cool, if something unexpected happens. Like when something is cancelled or there is a change of plans, I might get frustrated and act like a total beta, instead of just going with the flow. To name something I've improved with lately, is not only having the ability to close (I mean k-close,f-close) when I want to, but also DOING it. But more on this later on, and how this has got me in some tough situations.

I hope to tell you about my game and where I stand in the field in up-coming posts. I'll try to make this as readable as I can for you guys, but sometimes my writing can't keep up with my brain ;)

-Peak
