Use it.

Always use it.

Use this thread to discuss it and ask any questions you may have.

Unless she says she is clean and on the pill then its ok

On a serious note...

Something like 2% of condoms break during sex, lets say I have sex 300 times a year (Its an easy number to work with) thats 6 broken condoms, lets say 1 is at the right (more like very very wrong time) 25% of the times they would get pregnant (my count is through the roof so its more like 50) thats an unwanted pregnancy every two years :?

Besides condoms what else would/do you use to reduce the risk?

25% "at the wrong time" seems like an unlikely occurance to me. Depending on how long you last and what kind of condom you use that should not happen. The best advice in this situation is to give her the morning after pill straight away.

Also if you use condoms and the withdrawal method.... which may not be as fun but use your imagination, it can be plenty of fun.

About condoms, where the hell do we keep them?

Wallets add a greater risk to them breaking. I don't carry around a backpack, I heard pockets also add risk.

Girls don't always carry condoms, especially the ones I cold approach and weren't planning on having sex in the library

Carry them all the time is the best advice. When I go clubbing I have a little tin that came with a pack of condoms that keeps them nice and safe in my jacket pocket. As for the rest of the time I KNOW your wallet is not ideal but I would keep some there anyway..... Anything is better than nothing.

I heard keeping it in the wallet reduces the protection up to 40%

I'm not sure if it was a correct source though and I can't remember how long it has to be in your wallet for

Up to 40% is still a hell of a lot better than nothing. If you are that worried, replace the condoms in your wallet once a week - it's not like they are expensive. Hell you will probably find a sexual health clinic in your area that gives them out for free. I once knew a couple who went to the sexual health clinic and got given a box of 500.

Obviously keep a heap of them in your bedroom, your car, and in your bag if you are traveling, this will cover you for a large number of your lays and for the others use one from your wallet if you have to. We have all been caught short before, but that one decision to ride bareback can affect your sexual health for a long time (perhaps even the rest of your life).
