Does anyone know why Austin is big on the pickup scene? Why not Houston or Dallas? Dallas and Houston have about 6 million people each while Austin only has 1.7 million. Just curious.

Plus Austin's generally a cooler city. Small and tight (teehee!), especially compared to the sprawling cluster-fucks that compose Houston and Dallas.
