what i find really ironic is that in drama we are studying existensialism which is the belief that god doesnt exist or has left us a long time ago. It makes a great point of how we have to define our own purpose in life because without it nothing really matters at all.

Yes I do, and at times I struggle with being religious and being a pua. As do many of the guys here. The worst thing you can do is give half of yourself to pua and the other half to religion. Because the religious side will sabotage your pua efforts and the pua side will start to undermine your religious beliefs. You must find a way where these two concepts can coexist in your mind. If you compartmentalize and see yourself as two different people, or that you have two different lives, you will eventually deconstruct.

I'm a Zen Buddhist so I really don't have any conflicts with religion and pickup

not at all, unless you're a slave to the judo-christian god built up by the established church.


The true IDEALS of ALL religions apply very well to the core philosophies of pick-up. All the nonsensical fluff attached on to these ideals in an effort to control is what conflicts.




and just in case that came off wrong, I'm not against people being religious, but I hate people that don't define religion for themselves and take the lies at face value.

Buddhist... no problems what-so-ever.

I believe in Existential Nihilism/the shambhala way, it is amazing how beautiful the world becomes when you realize you have no purpose, no soul or higher power to kinda pass the buck onto, or afterlife to justify leading and unfulfilled life and instead just live life to the full appreciate every second and experience.

Plus it is one of the few belief systems I can do whatever the hell I want in, surely that is the most natural thing, following my instincts. If their is a god and he frowns upon me acting impulsively then he is the one that created me maybe he should have done a better job if he wanted me to act a certain way.

not religious at at... i kind of dislike organized religion in general. plus i don't believe in an afterlife.. with in the near future there will be the technology for us to live for ever anyways..

but if there is immense life extension... aka immortality... what would this do to PUAs? or religion for that matter

I don't think it would benefit the world in any way to have people living longer, they would just be old and useless. Sadly the length we got is about perfect (if not a little too long ... cheers medicine), we go through infancy learning, reach sexual maturity reproduce then decline (leaving just enough time to raise kids), that should be how it is none of this old age sitting about waiting to die crap.


but yar nothing good would come to the world by having old people everywhere so I doubt it will ever be done

Yeah I believe in God and I'm religious aswell.. and right now I'm having the worst time ever, struggling between fucking a HB9 and being a good catholic...

Immortallity could easily lead to a malthusian melt-down, on the other hand it could totaly change our perseption of time, a whole new spiritual meaning and age would begin. :O

I could start building an army of me's

clone myself and make a female then just breed like mofos and have our offspring do the same on an island somewhere until one day there are thousands of me, all with different outlooks on life and subtle differences that clonging wouldn't allow for

i haven't really looked into cloning of humans, it might very well be possible, althogh i do know that the sheep that where cloned had a significantly shorter lifespan, and only worked in about 1-300 basis, plus cloning your self into a female and have the same genetic cloned genes pass on would will give a result of all the babies coming out deformed to some decent...
