i've only been on this forum for about 30 hrs but something i noticed is that it seems like there's no way to tell if the person answering your questions is 17 or 47 years old. and if the question is "how do i convince her that im sincere when im really not" the answer should be completely different depending on the age groups. Worsening this is that some people on here seem to quote their answers from the books they've read and not from actual experience regardless of age. i joined this website cause i thought it was full of guys who enjoy going out and spitting game to females, not guys who are scared to do it and resort to self help books. no offense to anybody but there needs to be something more to distinguish the guys that get girls from the lames who are trying to get to that level.
BTW, I'm 27 - married, divorced, have been doing this for over a year, teach it now, and have 100+ FR before I got my LTR that I still have. IF it matters to you!
I can hear what you are saying. There are a lot of people who quote books on here like they have in-field experience. Others who don't have much of either that are just "keyboard jockeys" that give advice.
In some cases this can help for those who don't know the material as well. In other cases it hurts because of the lack of in field experience. It's a give and take. I'm sure those people are just trying to help but...
The problem with in-field experience being shown is it's an honor system. How many guys do you think would be honest about it? For some it's a matter of pride and it'd bruise their poor ego.
I think it's a good idea though. Because the amount of posts doesn't mean much either really. I mean I post a lot on here because I get bored at my IT job, period. I figure why not help out where I can and give back. Some people don't care if they do and that's cool too but they are just as experience as I am.
