| Theres this show called leverage on TNT Tuesday nights. Its about agroup of theives wo actually help good people, like a robin hood kinda thing.
This guy elliot, the tough guy of the group is chatting up all the ladies at the party with ease. Then he proceeds to his target. his obstacle was another guy who was taken away by, I guess you can call her elliot's pivot.
So elliot approaches and hands her a drink, he says "this ones on the house but the next one s on you" I thought it was a bad approach but, he finished off well. if it was just the drink he would of crashed and burned.
she is from europe and proceeds to insult him on his american style.
here it gets good, this lady named sophie is now coaching him through an ear piece and proceeds to tell him he needs to raise his perceived value and he goes on to tell her about his traveling and she takes interest.
then elliot told her something she smiled at and sophie told him to anchor it to a toast, which is clear nlp.
well they keep talking and he goes on embedding dhv spikes. he then closes by saying, "I have to leave early, I have an early shoot tomorrow". the lady was a former actress and asks him about it to find out he was a "producer". He goes on to say it has plenty of open roles, at which the lady offers her help, and gives him her number, without him asking.
sophie also told elliot to throw in an ftc while he was closing, although it was a late ftc, it still seemed to work. although this was tv, the same principles generally apply. sophie also told him to neg her and he said "your eyes are very blue, almost too blue."
its funny because knowing game makes you so aware, I see pick up and different moves in movies like yes man, and even on tv.
