I could probably help you out with that. I'm a businessman, and a teen PUA. I was thinking of making a site like yours, but I'm too damn lazy, and I don't want to waste my money on a site. So the least I could do is help with one.

I've been into business, and girls since I was born. I got a high B from a Business Ed exam without studying a damn thing, or doing much of the homework... Had my first girlfriend when I was 3, except I can't remember any of what I did except sitting on a hill, and kissing her. Then she went and told everybody. Of the two, I'd rather be meeting girls.

Anyways. To get your site noticed I would:

absolutely fuck up Google, Yahoo, Sympatico, Squidoo, and every other search engine with decent traffic.

If I'm setting up a product site, then I would do all of that, and set up a merchant's account with SPAM or some other emoney company. But SPAM is the only one that comes to mind right now because it's popular and I have an account.

I would also write a great salesletter - which you can definitely use pick-up techniques to write.

And my site would be around 3-10 pages long, depending how much convincing I think they need. If it's very good, then the three would be the: 1. first sales letter, or to sign-up for a newsletter. 2. sales letter or the buying page. 3. The final purchase page, with a redirectory - which brings them to another possible page, or back to the first. I would suggest having this page say, "Thank you"

Yours is a blog, though. I've been to it before. You also confirmed my beliefs about fashion, and things going together. I'm not the only one who thought these.

To get any kind of site noticed you need to set up ad campaigns...

But for blogs, you're not trying to sell anything - so if you get popular, you will need to pay the bills more. Selling advertising would really help. Or using the techniques I know to dominate the internet, and selling other people's products, or creating your own, and selling them. You really won't ever dominate the internet, though... Days of that are over, and thousands, if not tens of thousands, know techniques on internet marketing and are making money. However, there are billions of people that use it... So you may be in luck.

Other ways to get noticed are to set up a Direct Sales campaign. Which is physical - the mail. You can't get charged a shit-load of pointless... charges. :?: Mainly because the internet is becoming increasingly popular with recession, and that postal is becoming obsolete and used less because people want to save time and money and have a lust for quick information. The postal services won't be charging you too much... You can send out thousands of letters (if done correctly) you will hopefully get at least a 1% response. I wouldn't be too keen on this one if you're marketing to teenagers... Which you are. Maybe young adults. Teenagers don't tend to get a whole lot of mail - which, I guess could be a great advantage. Get them all excited, and surprised. Then once they have their mail, they go wait at the stairs, tear it open, then start reading that there's hope for them to stop being a loser. This may yield much better responses - maybe 5-10% because there are a lot of losers, cocky wannabe players, and other types that would get involved... Although the ones who are lazy or forget won't be there. Maybe some of the oens I just mentioned - depends what kind of cocky they are. Cocky as in, "I'm too good for the site 8) " or as in, "I'm going to show off my skills to these losers!". I don't like either group. They both annoy me.

Direct Sales is marketing scheme... They mass market these.

Direct Sales also applies to TV and sometimes (less popular) radio. Do you know Proactive? Yeah, that's direct sales. Bowflex? Yup. Just through the TV. I don't know any big products that were advertised solely through radio.

They also set up different payment programs. This is affected by their inital price - what costs more a - bottle of cream or half-ton of weights? I'd say the weights would cost more.

Mass Marketing days are over... This won't work because so many people are affected by the recession - circumstances won't change at least for a few years, trust me. For now you need to market to those households with spoiled, rich kids with no social skills...

Oh wait, I keep forgetting to apply it to a non-profit site. Well, for your blog, this would work - just getting the word out.

Don't lay all your eggs in one basket. Answer posts and questions on sites like Yahoo! Answers, and WikiHow, and write articles on eZine if you want. This will (if you use the name Gay, and plug your site, and build and maintain a good, steady reputation) increase your popularity. As well as your site's. You also write a fair bit on this site, which is good - but you need associates to help you with this and keep recruiting people regularly. If I started a competing site, then I could probably beat you... Beat you in terms of popularity, and marketing. I already have a few people I can get to help me out with products, and I joined like a couple weeks ago. I also have a couple fans on Yahoo! Answers because I gave them pick-up advice. However, if we teamed up then I could help sky-rocket your success, and gain more popularity myself.

Hmm, what else would help...? Oh yeah.

eLance. This is a site where you can get other people to write things for you. I was thinking of just writing notes and having somebody ghostwrite (write without me ever really seeing them... well, that's my knowledge of the term) my book. You can also get people to help you make sites, and other things. People at eLance are people looking for work. Give them a criteria, something to work with, and hundreds of dollars depending on the quality, among other things. Sometimes you may pay over $10, 000. I wouldn't expect this unless you were getting them to write a huge sales site with 60 pages, or to write out as many pages as Revelation.

There are things I'm probably forgetting... But you get the point, there's a few things you can do.

Oh yeah, spider-webs... Or whatever they're called. Fly-traps. That's it. These can be helpful sometimes. Gets questions answered, and questions asked.

Video. You can use free site like Youtube, and Veoh, and other popular sites to get the word out. These operate on a keyword search, and better yet it's free to use the words. You can put a ton of words on your video, then use it to get people over to your site. 2 Girls 1 Cup did this to get it... So did Borat with their leaked footage. These are both pretty popular. I watched 2g1c just because I wanted to see what everyone else was talking about! Damn social pressure... Disgusting. Hype gets people excited, so you should use it to your advantage - and for free.

Stealth. Well, this is considered cheating.. And I forgot how to do this because I wasn't interested in getting caught and charged a lot more money. But it can help, if you know how to do it without getting caught. There is probably a way to do this.

Banner Advertising. This is the Ultimate Natural Game ad on this site. You can get a lot of traffic with a good-looking banner, and proper placement.

Sales Intimidation. This is a helpful tool... But it can get results based on a person's fear of loss - and it does. I don't think this is very ethical, but it can get results if you're trying to sell something and want to capitalize - without getting called on any bluffs. Most sites bluff when they say they are running a special deal for the next few days, but they're lying. They have the same sale everyday, and just want to go for a kill. Do this, then they will settle for what they can get - which ends up making you more money.

Facebook. Well, I just thought of this a few minutes earlier. This could be used as a great medium to meet TONS of teens through. Most teens in North America, Europe, and Asia probably have a Facebook account. Big, big market.

Myspace. Same as above. Except I sucked as using Myspace... But now I think I could use it properly.

Xanga. Xanga is a blog... So, maybe you'd like to set up another one. Or wrangle in some more guys with samples of your material, and tips, then bring them to the main site through links and ads.

Nexopia. Well, if you have a good account with attractive words - then well... Girls will dig you. Guys may start spying on you because you have a bunch of girl friends. And want to sneak a peek to see what you're doing different, and getting results. And you could make a lot of guy friends too I guess. I created a nex to see what happened, and after 2 days I was getting said, "Hello" to by more than 5 people. Imagine if you applied yourself at least a little more. I didn't even really say anything about myself, and was getting girls. Hahaha, talk about desperate.

Pick-up-artist-forum.com. Well, it brought you me didn't it? Think about the other guys interested... I have a few already interested in what I have to say - make others interested in what you have to say, and your goals.

Word-of-mouth. This can include just yelling things out or telling people on the street you do this... I wouldn't really recommend this unless you're Gordon Ramsey or something trying to market to New Yorkers for a restuarant. Pick-up is misunderstood by a lot of people... Don't play into it.

I'm going to stop here because I need to get to bed... I'm not used to having school, and it sucks.

Happy New Year,
Roxstar
