I have been in sales for about 5 years now. I have always been decent at sales, but I am always looking for ways to improve.

Since I have been studying pick up I think I am seeing some paralels that may be able to help my work game. Have any guys thought about running game in sales? Has any one put it into practice?

The NLP guys use NLP for everything, including pickup and sales. Also, Influence by Cialdini has been a community-recommended book for ages, and it can very well apply to sales.

I did 100% comission sales in a department store for a year. Top 5% always. And I always got girls numbers.

Negs are a great concept. (As in: selling Acne, don't say they have bad skin, compliment but subtly put them down.)

Plus, the concept in sales of 'never sell it, make them want to buy it' is exactly the general idea of seduction.

Body Language too, plus AMOGing (customer blocks )

Finally, by DHVing the product subtly (verbal DHVs only work if subtle) works wonders.

As in, just like DHVing to a girl you might say "I went to Club Babylon, and this friend of mine is a promoter there, so he had these VIP tickets. So me and these brazilian girls were driving there to have a bit of fun, when suddenly... dadada" (DHVd: women like you, you're cool and sociable, you enjoy having fun -d'uh- you have money, you drive, etc., etc) vs. saying "So me and some friends were going to the club" which DHVs almost nothing... anyhow. The same works great when selling stuff.

Also, freezing out works well.

Something no one ever mentioned to my knowledge. The trick of (possibly fake) bringing another party in works well. (Buying temp. is a sales term used in seduction -- related.)

Like to insta-date a girl. Instead of asking her to go to the club or a concert with you, float the idea slightly then say "hold on..." fake-call a friend of yours who has the tickets, then pretend to drop some girl so she can get in, then indicate you can take her out. Maybe.
