Hi, MPUAForum members!

Some of us moderators are unhappy with our current rank title system, and we'd like your input on how we should change it.

Having rank titles that change according to your post count is a classic and fun way for forums to encourage user participation.

As it stands, these are the current rank titles:

1 Post: New to MPUA Forum
30 Posts: MPUA Forum Enthusiast
100 Posts: Member of MPUA Forum
200 Posts: MPUA Forum Addict
300 Posts: THIS IS SPARTA!!!
301 Posts: MPUA Forum Zealot
500 Posts: Dedicated Member
800 Posts: PUA Forum Leader
3000 Posts: Ask a mod for a custom title

This has remain unchanged for many years now (ever since the movie 300 was relevant lol), and an overhaul is long overdue.

It's odd seeing people who are highly active on the forum but mostly just ask questions having a "PUA Forum Leader" title when they're hardly ever giving advice. We've also had reports of new users confusing our "PUA Forum Leaders" to be officially endorsed by the site in some way, which is not cool.

Having the option of a custom title is a fun idea, but we also don't like it when users choose rank titles that may be misconstrued to be an official endorsement by this forum. Should we get rid of it? Should we keep it and set some stringent guidelines of what titles they can create?

I personally don't like how the titles don't seem all that intuitive. Enthusiast? Addict? Zealot? Is any one of those really "better" than any of the other ones? We'd like to create a new hierarchy of titles that makes more sense intuitively, but it's hard to think of new titles that fall in line with the PUA theme.

Please post your suggestions for changes we could make! Post count requirements are also modifiable.

Just moderate the custom titles (they must be approved from mods).

I would add some color to them that's different from the color of mod team.
